Product Description

From his years of racing in different world championships and lately his involvement with one to one tuition on track, teaching both private individuals and professional racers, Simon is uniquely placed to pass on his knowledge and improve the riding and safety of all clients.

Using his unique insight into on circuit instruction Simon comments “I have instructed many hundreds of people on circuit one to one and I get mad when I hear how much time and money some riders have spent doing particular training schools or reading books that obviously don’t work. They come to me with some fundamental problems with their riding that make it limiting and dangerous to ride any faster. Of course there is more than one way to achieve your goal, but you need to stay away from the techniques that cause unnecessary risks. I want to pass on the essential rules I learned the hard way, that work at all levels and are not limiting.”

During your time with Simon you will progress throughout the day using the techniques shown in the ground breaking Motovudu Book & DVD, including :
• Body Position
• Straights
• Braking
• Corner Entry
• Mid Corner
• Corner Exit

Simon enjoys working with all levels of experience, from the first time trackday rider, right up to the professional racer - you will be amazed at the difference he can make, with the rewards instantly noticeable, his objective is to teach any rider how they can ride faster – safely.

  1. Incredible Value

Posted by Andrew Course on 13th Apr 2012

I worked with Simon over one day at the Motorland Aragon circuit after having bought and watched the DVD.

One-on-one coaching of this nature is rare but so very valuable. The typical approach to improving lap times is to push harder everywhere with a crash being the only feedback that you've pushed too hard. Simon's coaching tells you where you can easily and safely find extra time. At the end of session you are faster for less effort and less risk with new knowledge that can be applied at any track you visit.

Simon works only with one student per track group, and having evaluated your riding is quick to home in on what can be improved. It helps to have watched the MotoVudu DVD, but it's not required. He's able to give coaching and instant feedback on the track via hand signals with a personal debrief after each session. Part of de-brief often includes some on-bike footage filmed as you ride. It's a powerful teaching tool which you can take away and study. As you work with him you realise how passionate he is about wanting to make you safer and faster.

Think about the money you've spent on "performance improvements"; aftermarket pipes, suspension, tyres and even the track days themselves. Have they in a day made you feel faster, more fluid with less effort and risk?

For what I gained, for the money I spent I felt it was incredible value.

  2. How to drop 26 seconds...

Posted by Marc Fettarappa on 11th Apr 2012

Simon's gift is not only the skills he has to share but the way he shares it : it's all about kindness, simplicity and confidence. The end result is that Simon "slipstreamed" me into restoring my confidence, increasing the safety margin, making me quicker and understanding why so that I can replicate on different tracks. I dropped 26 seconds on the day of the training and another 4 the next day alone.
My personal perception is that the skills this coaching brings flow together naturally rather than being puzzle elements to be "assembled" like I perceived in other schools. The benefits are probably higher if you have some basic skills before coming to this. Simon will see ma again !

  3. Huge Improvement and very educational

Posted by André Grunbauer on 11th Apr 2012

Just follow Simon around and do as he tells you to do. Never imagined this to be so educational. It feels good, very good, when you pass guys at the end of the day, that where lapping you that same morning. And all this in a very safe and sound way. Great experience with benefits clearly showing on your timetable!

  4. The best investment you'll make

Posted by Len on 14th Feb 2012

Working with Simon was a great experience; fun and productive. After having been to Almería many times, Simon opened my eyes to a new way of riding with more precision, which led to lower lap times. I recommend 100% working with Simon. No matter what level you're at, Simon can help you ride faster.
